Personally, I think teeny-weeny babysteps are the way to go!! I tend to work in one week chunks, and try to keep my goals small, so I don't feel overwhelmed. For ex: I'm trying to limit myself to dessert only once a day - either with lunch or with dinner, but not both! So if I have a goodie at work, I try to not indulge that evening at home.

I'm trying to track eating 2 servings of fruits/veggies a day. I know the SP norm is 5 or more, but if I can do 2 a day - that's a BIG improvement for me. Feel free to adjust anything to something you can succeed at for a while, and you can always add to it. I started my water glasses a day goal at 2 - cuz I was a diet soda drinker and 2 was a LOT for me. I've upped my goal to 4 glasses/day and sometimes have 5 or 6!!

It's important to set goals you can meet...yes, we want to stretch ourselves, but if you're like me, first you need some out-and-out success. THEN we'll start stretching farther....
