LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY WALKS !

As some of you know, I’m a “snowbird” who spends 6 months a year in Florida. October, which was my last month in CT, was pretty unproductive, as far as my walks were concerned. Now I’m in Florida, for the next 6 months and started my walking program again. Since we arrived on November 4th I’ve worked my way back up, from a half hour of walking, to an hour of walking.
My next goal is to walk a little faster every day. The first week of November, I was going 4.0 miles an hour. Today I walked 4.1 MPH for 40 minutes and 4.3 MPH for 20 minutes. Tomorrow I will walk 4.1 for 35 minutes and 4.3 for 25 minutes. Every day, I knock 5 minutes off the slower tape and add 5 minutes to the faster tape. And the beat goes on.
How do I know how fast I’m walking? I have tapes with a set cadence and double check them with my stop watch.
