I agree to "not" gain the holiday 10 pounds. I will, in fact, lose 10 more lbs and I will feel so much better for it!

I'm NOT doing it! Really it angers me. I refuse to get sucked into that submissive state and allow that to be my "norm."
Crazy as it may sound, what helps me is to keep on top of being aware of all of the marketing ploys out there. Not getting sucked into much of the media. Sometimes I think we need to take a sabbatical from some TV, mags, papers, news... It pulls you in, it wants you to believe that things are a given... May seem off topic, but so much of it is intertwined. We are not victims of this beast. We are in control and in charge of what we eat, do and buy!

Society accepts obesity all year round, sadly, but especially around this time of year. I'm extremely lucky, though, because my parents eat healthy. My brother doesn't, so when he's home from college the temptations rise a little bit. But thanks for those encouraging words. Spark will certainly keep me on track this holiday season. I know how hard it is to lose ten pounds, but how easy it is to gain ten pounds.

I like this and I take the pledge not to gain ANY weight during the holidays. (I worked too hard all year to take it off) Thanks for the Vlog. I like the way you deliver a message.

Went to your page and absolutely love the saying, Shut Up And Sweat! I now want a tee shirt with that saying or better yet sweat pants with that saying up one leg.

I am with you! I was barely over my range for Thanksgiving (200 calories) and didn't gain anything this week. Not only will I not gain 10, I will lose the 4 I have remaining in my second 10% loss goal by the end of the year (hopefully sooner). It will be the best present ever!

Thank you so much for posting this common sense video.
