Maybe I'll lose a few before 2013

I stepped on the scales this morning to greet a weight gain. Not surprising as I have not been sparking very brightly these past couple of days. I did eat heartily at Thanksgiving, but didn't eat much before or after the meal. Today, my kids brought home doughnuts and I ate one before thinking about it very long. I made a pretty healthy lunch though. My husband helped me set up the Wii Fit my sister let me borrow. I finally rallied enough to give it a try. My son helped set me up. I managed to burn 111 calories after 21 minutes. One thing about Wii, is that it expects you to lose weight and has you set a goal to do so. So I decided I'd try to drop 15 pounds in 2 months. If I get on it, I can make it happen.
Are you SparkFriends with Boss61? He's running a challenge to lose 8 pounds by the first of the year. I didn't jump on his bandwagon, but I read the blog and considered the action plan. It's do-able! I am going to take those action steps and see where it takes me! Glug glug glug the water. He thinks we can all lose a pound every 6 days if we concentrate. Let's concentrate!
I sent a bulk email to all the members of the 50+ team to invite them to post on our page ways they are Sparking now that the holidays have come. I hope there is more traffic of people posting their action steps. It really would feel good to lose a few before 2013!
I got my Christmas tree up with the help of the family and some neighbor children. Need to clean up and make it look nice around here.
