Baby Steps

The living room furniture is rearranged! Overall, it's back to the way it was before--with the couch on the shady side, and a yoga spot on the sunny side. However, we brought up an armchair from my studio, as I'd planned, and that's on the sunny side now. It gets in the way of the yoga space a bit, but nothing that can't be worked around... and I spend more time working on the computer than doing yoga, so the light matters more for that time. It feels different already. (As always... sunny is not really the right term during the rainy season!)

I've been looking around on the web quite a bit to find a summary of Flylady's system. In doing so I only find the briefest and most incomplete of summaries... and more often, people posting to say how and why Flylady didn't work for them, which is definitely not useful to me! Finally I decided I'd write up my own summary. While I'm at it, I'll tweak it to suit me better, and I'll also write a version for my husband, who is up for this. (While a lot of changes don't stick, when he picks up some of my latest ideas, a few of them do and that can often make a big difference.) I'm starting with the baby steps. I think the little changes will be helpful.

I feel about as energetic as a puddle today, so it's all about small steps.
