Any regrets the day after- No not for me!

Welcome to Friday everyone. For those of us that celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday, I hope you have no regrets either. I brought my food scale to the table with my measuring cups and it took me a bit longer to get my dinner on my plate but I did and it was a perfect portion of everything. Since we will be having our bigger Thanksgiving day celebration tomorrow, my daughter asked me if I am bringing my measuring cups with me to Grandma and Grandpa's and I said I probably would!
Why come this far and work this hard to let it slip for even one day? Every time I think about the number of hours it takes to burn all those delicious calories, it really makes me think twice about wanting to consume them in the first place.
So to all my sparker friends, have a wonderful Friday, good luck if you are out shopping with the masses and have a great weekend! emoticon

    emoticon ..You inspire me! I made sure I did portions but didn't measure. I did get on the scale this morning and actually lost 1/2 pound. Happy with that. Keep strong and determined and you will reach you goal. emoticon

    Excellent blog. I didn't measure what I ate on Thanksgiving, but I sure took small portions. I sampled a little of everything and had a wonderful and I believe healthy meal

    I missed this sorry. I use to measure all my food in the beginning, now I know by heart how much to have. I am sure it will work that way for you too.

    Good for you! No matter what is going on, I always count eveything, measure and even if I go over the calories, I don't fret, just make the next day better or exercise more!

    No regrets over here - I ran a 5k yesterday !! And really watched my portions - you are so right about going this far and not take it to the finish. This is not diet for its a life style change !!! Hugs K

    Way to go!! This was my 1st T-day where I was careful with portion size. The food was delish and I didn't feel stuffed afterward. You're right - it's worth it to take the time and effort to make healthy choices, even on T-day. I am so glad I started my new plan before the holidays! Thanks for your inspiration today. Keep at it!
