I keep learning about myself and that is a good thing!

Woke up early so i could elliptical and get it out of the way. In fact, it was so early that by the time i was entering my spark points i forgot i had run lol. My BF reminded me :)

I had a huge computer test to take this morning and then two projects that had to be done and turned in by midnight. My BF's mommie, Kate, was arriving for the holiday about 2 and i had some grocery shopping to do. She arrived with pies and other goodies. I do love Thanksgiving!! We headed out to do some shopping. My youngest granddaughter turns 1 in early Dec, so we got her some cute clothes from Kohls. I want to find her some cute little snow boots, too!

I learned that i am actually a stress eater. I've never realized that before. In the past when i was stressed i would go for an outdoor run and stop eating. but i have an SI joint injury that ended my running outside. Today when i was stressing over school, food, ect i wanted candy...specifically...chocola
te. I managed to limit it to one serving of m&m's that i slowly enjoyed. Tomorrow, i will keep that in mind and try to drink more water!

The turkey is brining and i'm looking so forward to the smell of roasting turkey filling the house!!

Happy Thanksgiving all!!! emoticon emoticon

Try to keep in mind when you feel tempted to go for things we know that cripple our diet, that you've worked hard to get to where you are. Take a healthier treat. Don't sabotage all your hard work by indulging in something you may be sorry about later. If we are able to have a small treat that can be figured into our daily food count, that's the way to do it. Then there are no regrets. Be good to yourself.
I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. You can make it one of your most wonderful thanksgiving days ever. You are doing really well. I can tell you have wonderful support starting with your BF. You are very blest.
