Day 17-20 Commitment to Myself

I guess sooner or later we all have to face the mirror or a picture. I got to the point where I became use to extra weight, but seeing it captured in a photo or a full lenght mirror gives me reason to say enough.

My steps for the last few days: 3,508, 5,414,14143 and 20,661. I have to move myself out of the comfort zone so that I can get some results.

There are only 9 days left in the month and I have not lost any weight, I keep telling myself it's because I have added weight training when the truth is that I need to do more cardio and eat less to see the weight come off.

    You ca use strength training to get some calorie burn going as well! Keep doing the movements smoothly and with good form, but instead of stopping between sets, do some super-sets (there's a great Coach Nicole article for that). For example, if you're using free weights, do 8-15 reps of bicep curls, then shoulder lifts, then tricep lifts, then front rows, then repeat. No rest!

    Not really cardio, but greater calorie burn and powerful improvements!
