I had a pretty good day yesterday. I didn't eat right but I tracked it all which is a step back on track. I drank about 5 cups of water ( a step up from 0 the day before) and I did 15 minutes of light exercise. YAY! I can do this. Here's the list:

Must Do:

1. Do 30 min cardio - did 15 min = 0.5
2. Stay within Calorie Range - did not do = 0
3. Drink 8 cups water - drank 5 = 0.625
4. Brush Teeth - did = 1
5. Go to Therapist - did = 1

Remaining List:

1. Do dishes - did not do = 0
2. Relax for 15 min - did = 1
3. Go to bed no later than 12am - did = 1
4. Eat 2 freggies (lowered to try to be more consistent) - I ate 7 = 3.5
5. Have a shower - did not do = 0

8.625/5 = 172.5% So, it went up from the day before and was pretty darn good overall. I am up a little later than I'd like (ie 55 minutes late) but I will get it soon if I keep trying. Here's today's list:

2. Stay within Calorie Range -
3. Drink 8 cups water -
4. Brush Teeth -
5. Go to Work -

Remaining List:

1. Cook Supper OR Wash Dishes -
2. Relax for 15 min -
3. Go to bed no later than 12am -
4. Eat 2 freggies (lowered to try to be more consistent) -
5. Have a shower -

I am going to have a good day! I know I can.

    Good morning, Friend!

    emoticon It is raining here today in Montana. The wet is something we need but not so good for the psyche. I am wishing you a good day today. One in which you are kind to that beautiful girl you are.

    I am determined to be kind to my beautiful girl today. I was kinda hard on her yesterday. I have come into the notion that if I think of myself as my young self, it becomes easier to treat her kindly because she goes into the "others" category. I am hoping once this becomes a habit, I can finally join the two of us back together.

    It's good that you're starting with "small bites". "Poco a poco" - little by little - as you succeed you can build up.

    I keep a cup or bottle of water at my side and keep sipping at it. You'd be surprised how easily you can finish off 8 cups that way! Other healthy steps can be parking as far away from the entrance to the store as possible; doing "chair cardio" (Spark has some videos for this) as a break from just sitting around. I invested in an exercise bike which has been such a blessing because you can use it while watching tv!
