Hello Monday.....goodbye Monday.....

Monday, November 19, 2012

Well, today was my first day back to work in the office since the hair transplant (although I did work from home last week, infection and all...). I knew that some word of it leaked but thankfully no one brought it up. I'm shocked that you couldn't tell - I just parted my hair on the other side and used Toppik to fill in. Losing hair as a woman SUCKS.

Anyway, I was still odd to be back - I felt somewhat disattached (I know, new word - I felt like I just wasn't there, but physically was). Thankfully I had many administrative tasks to take care of so I concentrated on those for 12 hours at my desk until I realized I was once again the last one in the office. I really need to figure out a way to make myself leave at reasonable times. I just feel like things are always there. waiting for me. I did walk 2/3's of the way from my house to to the train station before I caught a bus so I was able to get some steps in, then I walked halfway home before grabbing the T and bus to get the rest of my 11000 steps in. Glad, because I wanted to try Coach Nicole's quickie morning workout but just couldn't drag myself. Hopefully tomorrow.

Dietwise, I did ok. I lost .3 lbs over the weekend, which is much better than gaining, which I thought I did. I ate ok overall today, although I did enjoy more of TJ's Cranberry Chevre than I probably should have - I just cut down my dinner but I still think I'm over.

Still, no wine after work - I'm really going to stick to this sleepytime tea during the week to save my calories. Also, I'm going to try to get out by 6 tomorrow to go on an extra long walk, possibly some elliptical too. I need to make up for the fact that I wont get my steps in on Thursday so I MUST PREPARE!

Anyway, hope everyone had a great day and we shall continue to spark tomorrow!
