well rob is on vacation this week, so my daily routine is not its usual self. this morning he had to take the car in for new tires. i stayed home and did my podrunner--last friday i was so exhausted i didn't do any exercise at all--and i just gave myself the weekend off other than walking the dogs. so this morning i started on week 8 of podrunner--the end (week 10) is in sight! my running wasn't as fluid as it was the other day, but i made it through the longer run intervals and slightly bumped up tempo. the goal of these running workouts, according to the trainer who designed them is to give you a good workout, but make you feel ready to do the next one rather than kill yourself. it is very well designed in that respect.
anyway--rob got home and i was finishing kellie's painting and he went outside and dug one entire row section with the broadfork! i couldn't believe it! he said it really wasn't too difficult, and he was interested to see how his body will feel tomorrow. then it was off to "the working person's store". its a store that sells work boots and clothes like carhartt and stuff. rob has been hunting high and low for a comfortable pair of steel toe work boots and we decided to try there. fortunately they have a very extensive bargain basement, and he actually found TWO pairs and a winter jacket that was on clearance for 5.00. so he came away a very happy camper.
then it was back home to rest and relax awhile before starting dinner. all in all, a quiet day. tomorrow i meet my girlfriend for breakfast again, then we are taking the car over to have a trailer hitch put on it. have a great tuesday, everyone!
