Hello, I love you

Monday, November 19, 2012

Hello! This seems like an interesting project. Getting healthy takes work. It's exciting, and it's full of small victories, but I usually feel like I have no one to share them with--to some extent my husband, yes, but while he's on board with the lifestyle changes (thank goodness!) it would be a stretch to say that he finds it interesting. Besides, as you well know--the important victories are very, very small! Over and over again.

So far I have:

- made the bed
- done yoga
- made a smoothie

Today's smoothie:

homemade almond milk, date, chia seeds, orange, lettuce, mango, cranberry, acacia honey, coconut oil (emulsion). It's quite tasty, but hard to digest. Could it be almond milk? Or the emulsion? Or is my tummy just struggling generally? Not sure.

A quote from today's "Opening Doors Within:"

"It is not necessary for you to try and work things out in life yourself, or try to pull strings. All you have to do is very quietly and confidently to follow my instructions which you will receive in the stillness. Some souls will hear my voice distinctly; others will act intuitively; some souls will be guided in action. I work in many ways, but all will know when I am in command, for the hallmarks of love and truth will be running through everything... Acknowledge at all times where your wisdom, love and understanding come from, where life itself comes from. I am the Allness of All, and your life is hid in me. We are one."

It is wonderful your husband is supportive of the lifestyle change! That will make the journey easier.

You have come to the best place for support and encouragement. You also have the right of it, baby steps! Consistent baby steps...and when you falter, don't throw in the towel, but go on from where you are. SP calls it 1 step back, 2 steps forward!

Wishing you joy and success on your journey!

    Bright blessings,

USE a few less ingredients and add water so it is not so concentrated, or use ice cubes. But for me in the winter I just use water, ice makes them too cold for me.
Concentrated drinks are hard to digest. Sometimes when I make whey powder and milk my stomach has a hard time, and then I have to drink water to kind of help it along. Good luck. Try new things.
