Half marathon training

Last week I did yoga twice, XT on elliptical & ran 20 miles :) This week, not so much, I didnt feel well & just couldnt seem to get with it. I ran two miles yesterday, did some stretches another day, but I did my long run today of 8 miles. I felt better today! After two miles today, I felt really good! It took me 2 hours & 10 mins but I also wasted some time looking at a map & talking to a couple about the route! Oh well, right now its all about finishing for me! I do enjoy trying to beat my time though! Who would have thought I would EVER run a half marathon! There are two in Dec, not sure which if any I will do. It depends on how I'm feeling and depends on the weather! I am doing the turkey trot 5k on Thanksgiving this week! I have to admit "running" has NEVER been on the agenda for Thanksgiving!! bahaha! I'm feeling really good though, healthier! I did gain some weight when I started running but lost inches AND now I'm starting to lose some pounds too!
