Just a Part of Senior Charms

Sunday, November 18, 2012

Awhile back I did a blog with "Jiggle, jiggle uper arms, Just a part of seniors charms . . ." Suggested to sing to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. A few weeks ago I was in town at the therapy place and had to go. In the bathroom, I happened to notice in the mirror my arms. Must have been the bright light -- or something -- not only did they jiggle, they had brown spots appearing on the forearms. Hadn't noticed that before. After that I said to my daughter, "I have old lady arms!" Imagine my dismay when I read here on Spark that one cannot target a certain area to lose weight, but can target to strengthen. Not quite sure how to handle the jiggling. Good thing I didn't come equipped with a rear view mirror. Lord only knows what I mind find following me around.

This birthday is the hardest I have ever gone through. Not 40, not 50, but oh, , , ,

So, I keep Sparking and hiding my arms!

Did we go and miss your birthday? I feel horrible about that.

As for the jiggle, my SIL lost alot of weight. I never saw upper arms that jiggled and hung like hers. She used to make a show of it. The kids thought it was hilarious. I guess she just made the best of an inevitable situation.

Don't waste time hiding your arms!! Spark on!

I do know what you mean about getting older though. Sometimes, I look in the mirror and I think "what the heck?? Why does my eyelid skin stay wherever I put it instead of snapping back??" Oh, well, life is too short to worry about it.

    Have a great day! emoticon
