The end of Leaves of Fall Challenge

At the end of the Leaves of Fall Challenge, I think that it is important for me to relfect on how I did during the challenge.

My main goal was to exercise. I have been going to aquafit pretty regularly - a minimum of twice a week, often 3 times, and once 4 times in a week. I need to keep up the aquafit while I can, but I need to supplement it with WATP and strength training. The aquafit session ends early - the first week in December. It doesn't start again until January, so I need to start now to build up my WATP exercise minutes. I did use the treadmill once, watching a tv show, but it didn't work very well. I think that the treadmill either needs longer tv shows or music, the show I picked was only 20 minutes (without commercials). So I am happy with my exercise, but I do need to pick up the pace.

My eating has slowly been getting better, but I have a long, long way to go. I need to cook a real meal for 2 or 4 and then put away the leftovers. I am just beginning to do this.

Of course the biggest challenge is planning my meals and tracking. I have not been doing this at all. I have made a decision to eat a healthy breakfast Monday to Saturday (I was brought up not to eat before Church, and I still don't feel comfortable eating breakfast Sunday morning). I just started working at this and it is hard for me, but I have done it a few times and now need to be more consistent.

So I am happy with the result I got from the Leaves of Fall Challenge. I am exercising regularly and that was my number one goal. For the next challenge, I will have to keep increasing my exercise minutes until I hit my old target of 270 exercise minutes per week. I will also pick one goal related to food and weight loss, although I don't know yet what goal I will pick.

    I think you did great on the challenge and have come a long way. It hasn't been that long that you got more free time to take care of yourself and you have used it wisely. Good luck with the new challenge.
