I was re-reading my sparkpage and one of my vows was to keep a positive outlook on every thing! I don't think I've completely abandoned this but I want to re-focus on it!

First of all, thanks to all my sparkfriends for keeping my weigh-in in perspective to me. I feel ungreatful and I am greatful that I lost .4lbs last week!!! A loss is a loss! If that had been one of you, I would be jumping up and down with joy for you, and telling you that is an accomplishment. I need to do the same for myself.

With Thanksgiving approaching, I have decided I need to re-examine my goals and really focus on what they are. Later on today I plan on doing another vision collage. I will try to post it later. Maybe I'll do multiple. :)

With that said, its time to do some fitness.

Things I'm proud of:
-Planning ahead to ensure success!
-Trying to have a positive influence on my family's health.

Things I'm thankful for:
-Randy. When I told him my weigh in result, he was like, "Honey, you're doing great! You've been rocking it out the whole challenge."
-Cameron. In his 13yr old wisdom, he looked at me and said, "Its not a loss!"
-A goodnights sleep.

Folks who push too hard too fast and let themselves get down over small things often gain their weight back. Believe me, I've been there. This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon.

Don't you dare apologize for posting on my page! I love it!

Woo hoo! I agree.. a loss is a loss. No matter how big or small, you are still getting closer to your goals with ever ounce lost. Don't let yourself get down on a gain or stall either though. The persistence in you is what is important. Never give up. This is a lifestyle change.. and sometimes change needs some getting used to. Hoping your next weigh in is just as good (if it's not better!)
