Busy week

Been a BUSY week!
Monday was Veteran's Day. Took hubby to Ponderosa for free dinner. I was very good, and only had some salad, jello, green beans, and a pork chop.
Tuesday, I had to go get a fasting blood sugar, and all those other tests, for the surgeon. Ended up taking hubby in to get his glasses fixed, too. Silly man sat on them! Oh, and went "Dream Shopping" at the mall! Was so fun to be able to say "Next year, I will go in this store, and I'm going to buy THAT blouse!"
Wednesday was the Support and Nutrition meetings. They had all sorts of samples to try. Loved the Southwestern Creamy Bean Soup! Guilty pleasure (for the time being) is now Kay's Naturals Protein Pretzel Sticks. Cinnamon Toast flavor.
Thursday was xray central! Had to go for my chest, upper GI and Mamo! Was so glad when they were done and I could put a shirt on! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Friday, met with the surgeon again. Told me that as soon as I lose the weight, and the insurance says it's good, I'll be scheduled. Can't wait!! emoticon Unfortunately, I blew the diet in "celebration." emoticon There is this little coffee shop in the same building as the Dr. It's run by a gentleman from Ecuador, and has the most amazing chicken and black bean quesadilla! I ordered it with the intention of taking home at least half. Then, some friends from the hospital came in, and I forgot to stop eating! emoticon Ah well. I started anew that night. Only had a yogurt and some turkey. Two steps forward, one back.
Today, had to take hubby in to get his eyes tested before they would order his new glasses. Sure, could have gone elsewhere and had them today... but they wouldn't be free!
Tomorrow I am going to SLEEP!!
