11/16/2012: Day 20 of a Fresh Start

Friday, November 16, 2012

Yesterday was a pretty crazy day at work. One of my co-workers called in and I needed to cover her desk. I was already involved with covering on another team so I was running around trying to get things done. My morning flew by and I ended up taking my lunch at 3:00PM. I went for an hourlong walk and enjoyed the mild weather outside. When I got back to work I was told I had a meeting to attend and that my manager forgot to invite me. I left work at 5:30 and took a late train home. I walked in the door a little after 7:30. It was a long day.

I followed my meal plans and made my fitness goals for the day. I wanted to do a kickboxing routine and honestly once I was home exercise was the last thing on my mind. I prepared my breakfast, lunch, and snacks. I also picked out clothes for today. It's Friday and jeans day at work. Yay! I mostly relaxed and watched some basketball.

I didn't sleep enough last night so I woke up tired. I could use a good rest this weekend. Today is going to be a wacky day at work and I hope the day flies by. I'm going into work 30 minutes early so I can help a new manager this morning. It shouldn't be a boring day at work at all.

I'm going to do as much walking as I can today. I may do a light workout when I get home. The weekend is almost here and I'll do some relaxing but I'll also get a few things done around the house. I'm looking forward to 5:00PM today. That's when my weekend starts. I can't wait! :-)

It seems like you are doing most of the work there... always covering for another.. that will look good on a resume`..

I am proud of you for still staying organized at home in spite of your being so tired at night. You are a real Sparker!!!!!!!!!
