Hurting All Over

When I weighed in on Tuesday, I had only dropped 1 pound. For some that is good and I know we shouldn't lose weight to fast. But I want to lose at least 2 pounds a week. Having said that, I really pushed myself this week. I worked out for at least 1 hour everyday and I have one more day of working out for at least 1 hour because I rest on Sundays. I hope the scale is kind to me on Tuesday. emoticon

    Don't push too hard, it can be counter-productive. Build into your exercise slowly and give your muscles time to accept the fact they can't be lazy anymore. A 1# drop is normal once in a while. You will see better drops on a regular basis, perhaps even an a occasional 3# drop to counter balance the 1#-er.

    One pound is great, don't complain. Sounds like you are very vigilant with the program, so it will come off at some time. Keep up the good work and don't let the scale consume your efforts.
