No gettin me down

There is no getting me down! I blogged earlier about how tired I am, and how much I'm struggling. I still haven't been able to work out, and that's still bothering me. But...
I have been doing workouts at work. Wall push ups, lunges, and other things I don't quite remember the name of. ;)
I have been working on my sleep. I ended up going to bed about an hour, or so early last night. I still had trouble getting up, but it was a little easier. I listened to my body, and realized I just needed a bit of extra sleep.
Last night, the hubs and I spent more time talking than we usually do, and just paused the TV for a while. It was nice to just chat, and not feel like a log in front of the TV. We both agreed to do it more often, and to resume our weekly Wii-time once I'm feeling up to it.
I've been pretty good about cooking dinner. Last night was leftovers, so that was easy enough. But just tea for a snack for me! And I currently have chili on the stove now, with turkey instead of beef and plenty of beans for fiber. There should be plenty for leftovers for lunches next week, so that will stock the freezer up. While I was getting the chili going, I started Chef Meg's Slow Cooker Morrocan Beef Stew. I'm so excited to cook with spices I never get to - curry powder and garam masala! Hopefully hubs likes it. Spells awesome, and it's all ready to go, I just have to dump it in the crockpot and turn it on tomorrow. I'm glad I had enough energy to do all that, it took a lot out of me. But now I can rest, and spend tomorrow getting ready for our furniture to be delivered saturday!
