Day 7 - Quitting Smoking and NOT gaining weight!!!

Can't believe I'm on my 7th day of trying to quit smoking. What's even better???? I'm NOT gaining weight either!!!!

I haven't had a cigarette going into the 5th day!!! emoticon

Now, I'm not saying I haven't had the cravings...I'm just saying I REFUSE to give into them!!! emoticon

I'm trying to eat right emoticon
Drinking my water emoticon
Exercising daily emoticon emoticon emoticon
Trying to get enough sleep emoticon

    Oh yea.....5 days is a sweet spot!
    I smoked for 36 years and have been quit 5 years.
    Just remember a couple of things.....The more you smoke the more you crave.
    If you crave and just distract yourself for a few minutes the crave really does pass....Honest!
    I never thought i could do it so i didn't try for many many years.
    When my crave would get bad i would Google Images (bergerers disease, lung cancer) The visual is a good tool.

    I have never been a smoker but I have friends who were and I know that it is not an easy habit to break. You have my great respect and admiration for doing this and I know that emoticon .

    Keep up the emoticon work in making yourself healthy!
