Hey there! After you commented on my blog I wanted to check out your page! I'm glad you're reinvigorated. Even though you are disappointed about the weight gain I think it says a lot about you that your noticing now and tackling it head on. I think that indicates that you've made a true shift to wanting a healthy lifestyle and health for life. Actually, we sound very similar in our current goals and realization that we need to fit back into our clothes (and we are even the same weight...strange!)
The paleo diet sounds pretty healthy from what you've said and from the little bit of research I've done online. Probably not a lifelong thing, but like you said, a good kick-start to help get you thinking consciously about what you're eating and also to see how you feel about the carbs, etc. Good luck with it! I'm interested to hear how it goes.
PS, just curious, can you eat tofu and other soy proteins doing paleo?
