Cleaning house

Something I plan on doing and really needs to be done today. I went through a period of time where I was doing great at keeping up on house stuff, which inspired the husband and even the kid. Not that husband doesn't clean up. I was blessed with an awesome dude who loves to cook, doesn't mind cleaning up, works hard and loves taking care of daughter.
But, as always, my demons catch up to me. What are those demons you ask? Laziness, depression and perfectionism. An odd combination, I know. But it all boils down to 'Don't want to do it, don't feel like doing, and if I can't do it right why do it at all.'
That's usually a running mantra in my head.
But yesterday I managed to bust through several loads of laundry, including putting it away! Amazing, yes? Lol. Well it is for someone who usually just leaves all the clean clothes in the dryer and on top of the dryer.
So the plan for today: Exercise as soon as I'm done typing this. Get kid up and fed. Shower, get kid ready for school and walk her there. Come home, put away some more laundry and start cleaning the living room. Pick kid up, do some more laundry and clean the bathroom. Any time leftover will be for lunch and small little breaks to keep me from getting burnt out on cleaning.
Here's hoping I can stay motivated to get a decent amount done.

I have some of the same demons, but they're names are "overwhelming", "lazy" and "why bother when someone will mess it up an hour from now". With 6 people in the house its a never ending battle to keep up with the house, and when you start from complete chaos, its just near impossible to get into a working, consistent pattern. My kids do some, hubby does some too, but its still more than I can handle daily. I'm trying to do one or two smaller projects in the house at a time, but of course when I focus on something in one room, 3 more rooms go into a state of absolute devastation. And lets not talk about laundry. its just evil. period.
