Visualize a Healthy, Happy Life!

Earlier today I created myself an hour of free time to listen to SparkRadio. (I was having my breakfast for half of that time.) Right at the end of the podcast, Lily and Karen were talking about visualizing how we would look when we reached our goal... I closed my eyes and tried to visualize... I tried and tried... NOTHING! I can’t visualize myself slim! Maybe it’s because I haven’t been slim for a LOOONG time? Maybe for another reason I can’t think of right now...

I don’t know what to take out of this. It might not even be a bad thing. So I choose to keep positive and motivated and be excited about how I will look when I reach my goal. It will be a surprise. And I am sure I will not look this unhealthy! Ever again... emoticon

    Visualizations don't work for me either. Maybe mentally work through a specific step for getting thin instead? Say, rehearsing how to politely turn down food at a party?
