What a difference!

I am so excited about my fitness. I started lifting weights and doing interval training in Aug. and WOW it has made a difference! Wish I had pictures to share. I've only lost about 20#'s doing this but my shape has really changed. I have more energy and my endurance has really improved, I may finally be able to do a 5k in the spring.
I cheated though, I've been working out in a small group with a personal trainer. I discovered that I do need a little external motivation to keep on track. Working out is now something I look forward to. Still struggle with food, but eating healthy is becoming more of a habit. Hope to make it through the Holidays and still loose a little.
I've been successful with weight loss in the past only to return to bad habits when my goal was reached and "the diet" was over. I really believe I have changed my thinking this time.
Yesterday my boss brought in treats, Delicious Pumpkin Muffins (She's an excellent baker) and I didn't feel guilty eating it. I knew it was not the most healthy food. But adjusted my intake the rest of the day and worked it into my meal plan.
