Day 323

Monday, November 12, 2012

Kind of a busy, discombobulated day. Had substitute aides on the bus today and it took them a while to get into the routine of it, but they 'got it' after a while!

Did the big hill this morning - it was pretty chilly. Went into the woods with the poles for more cardio hiking. Got in 8.63 miles on the day. Did strength training this evening - core; lower body.

Had homemade marinara (meatless) sauce & spaghetti for dinner. Always good on a cold day. It's supposed to get into the mid 20's tonight.

It's beginning to look like there might be a dog for me to look at this weekend. Things are coming together. He's a 2 y/o German Shepherd who is largely a delinquent. Healthy, full of himself and needs major direction thru training. I can handle that. He just needs to be shown the right path for his life....and that'll be out there in the woods on the hiking trail and up & down the big hill!! That should turn him around!! It turned me around, that's for sure. Will keep you posted.

Thanks for stopping by today if you had time. Hope your Monday was great and that you got outside for some good cardio. emoticon

Fingers, toes, eyes crossed that you and this wonderful German are meant to be together! He'd be a very lucky boy to be paired with you as you definitely "get" what it takes to guide him back on the best path. HUGS and good wishes!

If anyone can show him the right path, it would
be you! You have stayed the path in your journey
so this should be a snap. HUGS!
