Hello Everyone! Here I am again , I have been on here in a while and I keep losing my motivation to even get the job done. I always start and get some where and end up quiting but I am making a promise to myself that I will not let my self get off track this time and specially by me having health problems I really have to do something about it. PLEASE HELP ME!!! emoticon

    Welcome back!!!!! I am here for you , I was on and off for a year .. and 65 days ago I started putting post it notes on my bedroom door with the number of the streak I was on.. it has helped me, I got the idea form The Spark and it is really keeping me on track

    Hello, My name is Carol. I begun this program in August . I am not losing weight fast, and I was getting discouraged emoticon .But I went to my doctor last month and she came in the room,told me I ought to be proud of myself. She was like a kid at Christmas and I wasn't sure what I was suppose to be proud about. Then she said come over here, she had my blood work report.Look at you A1c 7.5 the best it has ever been,said she could live with that. In 8 years that was the best my sugars had ran. But that wasn't what she was so happy with. It was my cholesterol . She had never seen it even near good and said it was perfect 148 and good cholesterol 53. She said she didn't know what I was doing but to keep doing it. I told her. She also was proud I had lost 3 lbs.I get to cut my insulin by 5 every two weeks as long as my numbers are running good. Even though I might not see lbs. coming off, I have inches coming off. I still get discourage because the weight isn't moving fast and the scale is like a yoyo, but I turn to my sp and friends to help me. Use the trackers and get help from your friends. I feel better now then I have in year. You can do this. I am here cheering for you. emoticon emoticon

    Welcome back. Perhaps you need to focus on just one day at a time. Don't think about the long term. Tell yourself each morning "just for today I am going to do the things I need to do to get healthy." Do that each day and you will reach your goal in spite of your lack of motivation.
