4:48am

Sunday, November 11, 2012

Around 4am right in front of our home a speeding car smashed into our neighbors tree and turned over. He was lucky enough to walk away from the accident. He was alone in the car and hit no one but a tree. I am glad everything is basically okay.

Obnoxious car horn woke my DH, two children and myself up. DH ran out to see if he could help and called 911 which were already informed. And I huddled with the children first around the window getting a birds eye view then cuddled in bed. The flashing lights are still going on and the clean up crew is still doing their job. So, here I am at 4:48am unable to sleep due to the lights more then the noise. Everyone else in my family fell right back to sleep. How wonderful is that? I am always so bothered by any sort of light when I am trying to sleep.

I am hoping blogging a bit will help put me to sleep or at least the clean up crew will be done soon.

Night all emoticon

Glad that no one was hurt and hope that you were eventually able to get back to sleep. I would have also had a hard time, not from the lights- I get really bothered seeing accidents.

Not good. So sorry that happened. Particularly being awakened that way. Startled. Hope you can take a nap.
