Day 22 - 9th November 2012 - Don't Stop Believin'

Daily Note

I see there is a trait in my exercise this week, every second day its 60 or so minutes and the days between are 40 something, its almost like push it and then rest days lol, hmm is this healthy? I know medical stuff but when it comes to diets, and nutrition/fitness i know very little off it seems. I did have some weight loss today, being my weight loss day. I will write more about it in my week blog.

I have noticed i needed some upper body strength / cardio workouts, my bottom half seems to be doing alot better than when i started but i lack with upper. So i went looking for some. I came accross this, and wow, this is something i could do to work on that area. Atleast 3 times a week i should see progress, shouldn't i?

It is a seated workout, that works on shoulders, arms and abs, it is really an amazing workout, boy would i love to wear white and not make it look fatter, it seems to be a colour for only those with nice figures. It is a Tiffany Rothe exercise, so i don't recommend it if your just starting out with exercise it could hurt you in the process. But those who are used to working out and need extra help with upper body like i do, then i do recommend it.

This is such a motivational speech too to hear, its only 2 minutes long, but it is awesome.

I really needed something like that to pick me up and keep going, working hard to get to where you want is sometimes painful but it is worth it.

I think this be the blog for today and i will catch up with the rest tomorrow.

This is a good one to learn more about sparkpeople and what it has to offer, it is good for me, since i am starting out, i am still learning new things each day, which is awesome. So this step i will learning about the site's Time Savers, Smart Use of Info, Boost of Positive feeling, Get Questions Answered, and Take it offline. Looking good.

It is true. We tend to envy and have jealousy of others for things we want but do not have. We need to stop these bitter feelings to be able to see happiness without ourselves.

    If you do strength training make sure you take a day off between sessions. So, say you lifted weights for your upper body. You would not do that two days in a row. Your body needs time to rest. 40 minutes is better than no minutes of exercise. Cut yourself some slack. I usually take a couple days off of exercise per week. I think you have to make your regime something you can sustain over the long run. emoticon
