Trucking along!

Wednesday, November 07, 2012

The last few days have been good, although I didn't make my step goal every day I still did good! Yesterday I finished the first set of boxes on my reward chart! So I get a surprise from my boyfriend which I'm really excited about! I'm finding it hard to sqeeze in my 10,000 steps every day. Some days its easy but with my hip pain sometimes its hard to run so I've been taking the dog for hour or so walks and its so cold! I wish there was a better way to get them in but I'm not sure how!

I've also started to craze junk food and chocolate this happens every time I start back to healthy eating. I know I need to resist temptation and just eat healthy and soon there will be a day were I am not craving it so bad! I've done pretty good and when I do indulge its something low calorie so thats a plus. I'm still within my calorie range everyday so I'm not doing to bad.

I've come to realize that I'm really proud of myself because I'm actually making a serious go of it this time. Before when I tried to lose weight I didn't really think about how I was going to get there and I didn't think about why I wanted to get there, but now I am and it makes me realize how important this really is!

I hope everyone's week is going well! Keep sparking everyone!

Glad things are going well for you! 10,000 steps a day can be very hard at times. I haven't worn my pedometer in quite some time, but I remember the days of standing in place, walking, while folding laundry just to hit my goal!
I can't wait to hear what the surprise from your boyfriend is!! Please tell when you get it!

Maybe it's best that you give in to something small and sweet. Maybe it will be enough to get rid of the craving? If that doesn't work for you, then keep on resisting! You can do it!!
