This weeks challenge is to log in and spin the SparkPoints wheel each day. I've been on a good streak anyway, so I should be able to keep it up for the rest of the week. I hope I didn't jinx myself by saying that!
The bonus challenge is to find 10 recipes on SparkRecipes that work for you. This was a good challenge for me because I've been in a bit of a slump lately when it comes to trying new things. It was good for me to spend some time seeking out new ideas that will work for my family. We're a tough family to cook for. My husband is lactose intolerant, allergic to eggs and chicken and not very interested in trying new things. My son is allergic to cow's milk protein and I'm a vegetarian. This means that vegan recipes are usually the only thing that will fit everyone's needs.
I started a new recipe collection and added 10 different recipes to it. Some will be good for just me and others will work for the whole family. I'm going to try cooking each of these in the next month or so. Then I'll add a review for each one on SparkRecipes.
People on the Eat to Live 6 week diet plan eat only fruits, veggies, beans, nuts and a small amount of grains. No animal or dairy. You might find some ideas for simple recipes from that team or Dr. Fuhrman's book, Eat to Live. 2050 days ago
