My day off

Monday, November 05, 2012

I woke up this morning with good intentions. No, strike that. With GREAT intentions! And I did accomplish the major things that needed doing. I got a check in the mail from my ex for a surprising amount. It was enough to cover my rent, thankfully, I just didn't think he'd be able to pay me this month. Communication always was a problem for us. That wasn't the main downfall of our marriage but it sure caused issues along the way! So my rent is paid for November. That's a major load off! Now I have to work on December... hopefully, he'll come through again but this whole relying on him thing really isn't working for me.

I even went to the grocery store and got what we need for a couple of days. Not a lot and not the best choices but I didn't have a plan, my coupon binder isn't fully organized, and I was so hungry I couldn't think straight. So I got the basics and called it quits. I'll spend some time tomorrow making a plan and do it right on Wednesday emoticon

So after I finally had lunch, I still wasn't feeling well so I took a nap. I woke up just before my girl got home and I woke up with a massive headache. Water, migraine pills, tv, iPhone. And bedtime came up incredibly fast tonight! So my usual workout just didn't happen today. But I did get my mile in this morning with quite a bit of other random walking!

My plan for tomorrow is wake, kids leave, walk mile, workout, shower, walk to voting station emoticon , check at store that has my crafts, and walk home emoticon by 230. Hm, I wonder if I have cash for Subway while I'm out... this could take a while!

Good night, my SparkFriends. Make tomorrow a great day! emoticon

If you can keep a list of the basic needs foods that will get you through 2 days, then when things happen that you can't get your coupons together and shop with savings and health in mind, you'll be prepared. Also, why is it that you want to stop at Subway? Ask yourself why you want to stop there instead of eating before you go out and/or when you get back. Subway is a better option when you must eat out, but it's rarely a better option than eating at home.
