This goes along with my "why I am here' blog. I'm not just working on making healthy lifestyle changes, I'm working on making all around changes.
Here is who/what I want to be:
Confident in my own skin. This is a given.
Comfortable, and confident in my clothing choices. Finding things other than the typical jeans and t-shirt. More dresses, skirts, shoe variety, and interesting tops.
Get back into cooking, which I used to really enjoy. Eating differently and more carefully seems to have pushed me further away from this, as well as slight lupus activity since my surgeries in Jan/Feb.
More friendly and outgoing. I say all the time that I have no friends, but that's as much my fault as anyone else's. I could always put more effort in, as well.
Along with different clothing choices, I want to be more girly. Painted nails, make up done, hair done, etc. Doing this goes a long way in the confidence department.
Be the best wife I can. Finding ways to spend time with hubby other than eating, shopping, or watching TV would definitely help our relationship. Perhaps finding a project around the house we can do together?
Less of a perfectionist, and more of a progressive-ist. It's not always about perfection, but about effort.
