Trick-or-Treat will NOT be my defeat!!!

So last night, due to Hurricane Sandy, was our rescheduled Trick-or-Treat for the kids. I am very thankful that it wasn't raining like they'd originally forecasted, and I got in a lot of walking, despite the cold temperatures. We met up with some friends of ours and went along with the kids. I'm very proud of myself in the fact that I didn't raid their candy bags as we walked, as I've always done in the past. I didn't waiver, and still today, haven't touched a single piece of candy! This is a huge feat for me, as normally I would aimlessly pick through and just keep helping myself. After Trick-or-Treat, my Fiance and kids stopped by our local McDonald's, as they were treating everyone to free ice cream cones in honor of Trick-or-Treat, but guess who didn't give in and have one......this girl!
I'm very happy that I'm doing so great thus far in November, and sticking to my goals. I won't say I haven't been tempted, but to be honest, seeing the number on the scale go down is far more tempting!!!
