Daily Update - Nov 1st & 2nd, 2012

I took a break from Sparkpeople yesterday because I wasn't available to be online that much and then when I got home and looked at all the stuff I "had" to do, I got overwhelmed. The thing I have to keep reminding myself is that I don't "need" to do everything every day (ie read articles, post, do quizzes, etc). So, I did track my food and I'm about to put in my exercise for yesterday but I didn't have a to do list for yesterday. Here's the list for a check-in from Oct 31st:

Must Do:

1. Do 30 min strength training - did 35 min = 1.17
2. Track food - did = 1
3. Drink 8 cups water - got in 6 cups = 0.75
4. Brush Teeth - did = 1
5. Go to work - did not do = 0

Remaining List:

1. Spend time with Mervin - did = 1
2. Relax for 15 min - did = 1
3. Stay within calorie range - did = 1
4. Eat 5 freggies - got in 2 freggies = 0.4
5. Have a shower - did not do = 0

7.32/5 = 146.4% So, a pretty good day on Wednesday as well. As I mentioned yesterday I was busy. If I use this same list, I didn't do any exercise. I ate within calories. I didn't get in any fruits and veggies that I can remember. I did brush my teeth. I went to my Dad's and did some work for him but did not go to actual work. My dad's work was quieter and didn't affect my headache as much (the one I've had pretty much since Monday). So, That was my day yesterday. I would give myself a 5.75/5 = 115%. So not as good as Wednesday but not too bad. I've got the whole day today to work on Sparkpeople, plan my meals for next week, and try to do better. I know I can do it. Here are today's goals:

Must Do:

1. Do 30 min strength training -
2. Track food -
3. Drink 8 cups water -
4. Brush Teeth -
5. Do 30 min Cardio -

Remaining List:

1. Spend time with Mervin -
2. Relax for 15 min -
3. Stay within calorie range -
4. Eat 2 freggies (lowered to try to be more consistent) -
5. Have a shower -

I will have a good day! I just know it.
