I am so happy, I have finally reached my first 10 lbs. lost and I am SOOOOOOOO excited. I just knew if I could lose 10# that I would be able to do I have motivation I've been lacking. I'll be down to my normal weight by August of 2013 and I will be in the shape of my adult life at 58 years young!

Ooh, can't you feel how tickled I am???

Thanks Shell.....nothing like reaching your first goal to encourage you. BUT, I have a much larger goal in mind. I shattered my ankle in 2000 and I refused to allow them to amputate and they put me back together and said I would have pain for the rest of my life (they were right!). I've been waiting for the last 10 years for them to perfect and have good success with ankle replacement surgery, and my team of doctors feel confident that the latest equipment will last me 10 - 20 years. They are now up to a 78% - 85% success rate in he USA. I will be one of the youngest people to get the surgery, but my leg cannot handle any more breaks. The only draw back is the equipment cannot support a weight of more than 180#, so I need to be down to that weight before surgery.

I'm on my way....I called my surgeon's office and left a message for his assistant and already have 2 emails with "congrats and you can do it!"

Feels good.....I know the next 10 lbs. may not be as easy, but now I'm determined! Thanks for adding me as a friend. Keep in touch!

That's fantastic!! Good for you. I am still working at my second 10 lbs, but nothing is happening fast that's for sure. Still, I'm sticking with it - what's the alternative?

    Keep up the good work!
