Yesterday at about 3pm I got a call from my hubby saying "don't cook, I'm taking you out, be ready by 5.30pm." Well this was a surprise because this isn't his usual style. emoticon Usually I do all the inviting, so to speak. What could the occasion be that would make him do the inviting?

Can you believe he REMEMBERED our anniversary which was LAST WEEK emoticon
I cant even be mad at him because I'm as bad. With my first marriage, I had a date I could never forget because it was chosen based on I'm terrible with dates. My second marriage was a random date which I never remember.
The day itself didn't feature highly because my hubby was almost always out of the country during our anniversary. Also hubby (and I) believe in having a good marriage as many days a year as we can rather than one special day (I know its not for everyone, but it works for us) My sister would not imagine a year without some type of get together for their anniversary, but that didn't happen for Justin and I. So what a surprise when I got taken to Kingfisher restaurant for fish, rice and salad followed by a delicious cappuccino.

Today was meant to be a morning in fs in the outlying area. I was all prepared when I received a text message at 6AM???? to cancel the arrangement. The sister had slept poorly and not able to come out. We were all meant to be in her carload, so that was that.

Well today hailed beautiful and sunny with a cool breeze. I managed to bath both my dogs and then walk to the coffee shop with my sister and mom. My mom sweetly paid for my sister and I to have breakfast and coffee. This treat on offer and all I felt like was anchovette toast. But I thoroughly enjoyed the toast and the outing. Now to get some real housework done.

Hope you all have a great weekend. Don't forget to eat right.
