Thank God my family, neighbors and I were spared Sandy's wrath.
Back to the reasons for this blog. I planned and was prepared for the unknown; so I thought "MY APPETITE". My dear son is a big meat eater, that's ok I was prepared for that too. I cooked things like veggie omelets, plantains, chicken breast to put on salads and I made me some smoothies :-) I purchased tuna fish too.
I'm nervous about Friday which is my weigh in day. So I had a talk with myself, and I told myself that overall I ate well. I could have eaten certain things but didn't. In the fridge is a HUGE Reese cup, microwaveable popcorn or fried chicken. Overall I kept making wise choices!
I'm learning to give myself some credit because things could have been very different! I also went outside with a desire to go running. I went to three area high schools and each track was closed. I did workout a little bit at home and with some weights even :-)
Before I go...I was hungry tonight and it was way past my cut off point for eating. But guess what I ate? Two cups of broccoli and 2 boiled eggs & water :-)
