The storm was no excuse.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012

Been eating like a nervous whatever as hurricane Sandy approached and went over and by us. Hopefully I was conservative enough in the quantity of what I ate.

Tomorrow will be me using the videos on here for exercising. WOOHOO! After that will be the trick or treaters coming through followed by the neighborhood Halloween bonfire with more goodies I will have to carefully choose from. I would hate to offend by not trying Kim's spider cupcakes or Bill's peanut butter fudge. Everyone knows how that goes. I DO love love this event though. All the neighborhood past and present comes. I am so lucky to have these wonderful people in my life. I am happy Sandy has left so we can still do this.

I've been weighing in on Thursdays for a fun challenge. This week that's the ~ScArIesT~ part of Halloween.

Glad all went well with you and the storm! Just write the overeating off and start anew! Good for you on the exercise video! I am beginning to like them as much as my walking outside!! Never thought I would say that 2 years ago!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I too was nervous through Sandy . . . it was one night so I'm writing it off as a cheat day. I allow myself one every so often, and it helps renew my resolve to move forward again. Not REAL bad, but I had a few glasses of wine to calm the nerves. . . Went over by a couple of hundred calories. Today, I was back on track and under. Forgive yourself and you did great hitting the videos today! emoticon

Just limit yourself to a bite or two of those things you most want at your party - a taste is all you need. Savor it . . . emoticon It's wonderful that your neighborhood can still do this after the storm! emoticon
