Today I am 19 weeks 5 days. Almost halfway there! I have an ultrasound appointment on Thursday (exactly 20 weeks) and I will hopefully find out the gender. I'll be happy with either, but I can't wait to know. My husband is coming to the appointment with me. I am excited for him to see the baby.
I am still waiting for the first kick. So far I haven't felt anything. I am hoping I will soon. I am sure everything is OK, but it would still be reassuring to be able to feel the baby.
I have been trying to track my food on a more regular basis. I did pretty good last week, but the weekends are tough since I am not on the computer as much. I have been improving on not eating as much or as poorly, but I think the liquid calories are still getting me. I am obsessed with chocolate milk and orange juice (but not together, that would be gross). We buy 1% chocolate milk which is better, but those calories still add up fast.
Exercise is still my downfall. I think I worked out twice this month. I am not as tired as I was in previous months, but I am sore. My back hurts and my hip hurts. I have gotten to the point were I can't sleep on my stomach. I can still physically do it, but it kills my back. I am struggling to find a comfortable sleeping position now. It seems like no matter how I sleep parts of my wake up sore. Hopefully I'll figure something out soon. I am lucky though. My husband has been generous with back rubs.
I'm in maternity clothes now. They are fabulous. My pants are so comfortable and I love not having buttons and zippers pushing on my belly. I bought 6 shirts and 3 pairs of pants so far. They are all so cute. I don't think I am going to want to stop wearing them after the baby is born.
Looking forward to the second half of my pregancy and getting to meet my baby in March!
