Choosing healthy habits over unhealthy habits can be
challenging, but it is easier than facing early aging

    Choosing health is so important.
Keeping the muscles strong enough to be self-sufficient is essential to directing our future, that's for sure.

Sadly, our choices determine our future ~ baring unexpected accidents.
It's a good thing to make healthy choices. That's for sure !

Like Dr. Fuhrman says when people tell him they don't have time for healthy choices....he says he doesn't have time to be ill or spend his life in a nursing home.

I've worked the last 20+ years in long-term care.
It's definitely a motivator in choosing health ~

The health coach is obviously not a nurse. LOL. As a nurse I have been in a lot of nursing homes and a lot of them have many members who are in their mid to upper 80s and even mid to upper 90s and at that age they have outlived most of their family members. Some would still be able to live at home with a little help, which is generally unavailable due to our health care system. I used to do care plans for them. Most were on few meds. So I would disagree that the majority of members are there due to unhealthy habits. Most of these people are there because they lived to a ripe old age.
