Daily Update - Oct 30th, 2012

So, yesterday I had some ups but my negative parrot (something my therapist told me about) is telling me it was mostly downs. I just couldn't feel happy for the most part. I had happy moments but my mood overall was pretty low. I forced myself to do my strength training (which is good) but I kept being negative about how I was doing while doing it (such suck, you're not doing it right, why can't you do this move without falling over, etc). I did finish it all though.

Now for food, I ate pretty much nothing good. I had left over homemade pizza and a piece of wacky cake for breakfast, KFC for lunch and a bag of chips and a cream egg from Cadbury for supper. It didn't even make me feel much better. *sigh* So, hopefully today I can get out of this funk and do better healthy lifestyle wise.

In regards to the rest of my day, I didn't feel well. I went and got blood drawn to run some tests I get done occasionally and felt really ill after that. I just went to sleep for a 2 hour nap and missed work (2nd day in a row). I will need to make sure I make it on Wednesday. Here is my list for today so I can see if it was bad as I thought it would be:

Must Do:

1. Do 30 min strength training - did = 1
2. Track food - did = 1
3. Drink 8 cups water - did = 1
4. Brush Teeth - did = 1
5. Go to work - did not do = 0

Remaining List:

1. Spend time with Mervin - did = 1
2. Relax for 15 min - did = 1
3. Stay within calorie range - did not do = 0
4. Eat 5 freggies - did not do = 0
5. Do some Sparking - did = 1

7/5 = 140% So, not too bad I guess. I am doing well on the numbers here but sometimes I wonder if I'm just deluding myself into thinking that I'm doing well by "fudging" the numbers to make them seem higher. *sigh* Sorry this isn't my usual peppy self. I guess we all have those days. Mine just keep coming up lately. Here is my list for today (day off but seeing therapist and weight management class later):

2. Track food -
3. Drink 8 cups water -
4. Brush Teeth -
5. Go to therapist -

Remaining List:

1. Spend time with Mervin -
2. Relax for 15 min -
3. Stay within calorie range -
4. Eat 5 freggies -
5. Go to Weight Management Class -

So, I know I can do this. I will do this and I'll emoticon . I'll have a better day today. I know I will.

    You are right my friend, we do have days like that and that's why I love tomorrow because it's
    always a NEW start and we can refresh our souls. So today is a new day and it will be a good
