SparkCoach Action Plan - Oct 29th, 2012

Today's action plan was to blog about some common excuses I use to not do my workout and then to come up with reasons to ignore those excuses or to overcome them. So here are some excuses and my comebacks for them:

Excuse 1: I'm too tired

Comeback 1: I know it will give me more energy and make me feel a lot better.

Excuse 2: I'm sick

Comeback 2: Well, I can still do some light exercising and then see how I feel at that point.

Excuse 3: I just don't want to

Comeback 3: I may not want to now, but I know that after I start I'll enjoy it and it will help me get healthier

Excuse 4: I don't have time today.

Comeback 4: I always have at least 10 minutes to do something and this is a priority for me.

Excuse 5: I don't do enough anyway, so why bother?

Comeback 5: Anything is better than nothing and you know that once you start you'll do more than you think.

So, there you have it. My top 5 excuses and some comebacks for them. emoticon Have a great day all!

    This is a great list to come back to whenever the excuse bug raises its unwelcome little head. I think I'll do up my own list and post it where I can see it at exercise time.
