Yes, I agree with the other blogger be careful with eating items that do not contain real ingredients - our bodies do not understand them and therefore they usually turn into fats. But, great ideas on looking at Clarence items in your stores to find useful resources and tools that will help you on your journey. I love the container from Big Lots. We have one by our house. I am going to go there this week and see if I can find them. They would be perfect for our leftovers that we usually eat the next day for our lunches. I too do not like having all my foods touch. And I hate when I pack my husbands lunch up because I often use multiple containers and then I usually am the one cleaning them all the next day. It's a pain since I do not like doing dishes. The less stressful and time consuming we can make our lives the better! I usually do not have a problem with lunch time since I have an hour and am able to come home and eat something I try and plan out the night before. I also get up early enough to eat breakfast even if it's just oatmeal. My lunch is later during the day so I have to eat something in the morning. I do try and bring a fruit cup to work that I can easily take to my classroom when the kids are napping so that I'm not starving by the time I get to lunch. I use to take yoga and one of the suggestions are instructor made to us was making sure you pack a snack bag for yourself. So for instance, dried fruits/nuts, cereal bars, etc. She suggested we pack these items into a bag in the car and in our purse. I still do this too because sometimes on the way home I find myself looking for something to eat. Before, I was tempted to stop and grab something (usually unhealthy) but not anymore. This might help you at your desk since you stated your lunch is fast and you do not eat breakfast in the morning. Wow, what a great deal on those vitamins. I just take a multi-vitamin once a day but I often wonder is it enough for the whole day and should I be taking more since I too have pit falls with my energy level especially after lunch time with having to go back to work for another 3hrs. I too work late hours and find it so hard to wake up early in the morning even though I know it would be better for me to do so then staying up late at night like I do. Well, once again thanks for the blog it was helpful and interesting. Best wishes.

Great idea to check out the clearance racks. I am careful to only eat real food though so I would be careful to not eat dressings that are all chemicals. The chemical replacements to sugar, fat etc are toxins and toxins can cause us to gain even if they have no calories just because our bodies don't know what else to do with them. I just wanted to say that to give you a heads up.

Thank you for all the helpful shopping tips. The applesauces sound really yummy. You are saving so much. I really respect people who care enough about their hard earned money to shop around! I think you nailed it by reasons why they clear items out. I find brand new stuff at Goodwill where it was donated just because it was cleared off the main stores' shelves.

Haha. My brother won't even eat foods at the same time. In other words, he will eat all of one item on his plate before he will take a bite from something else.
