So here it is almost 1030 pm again and I'm still up. I have GOT to organize my day so I can be in bed by 10 instead of 11!

I worked on another technique for a leather bracelet today. It looks cute but I don't have the right kind of closure for it so I can't finish it yet emoticon

Today I put a note in my daughter's school agenda that I need to schedule a conference with her teachers. It feels to me as though something isn't working out this year and she can't tell me what's going on. I'd love to know why she isn't bringing home homework, why nobody's checking her agenda, why she carried a completed assignment around for a week before it finally disappeared from her folder. Just little annoying things like that.

I even learned the other day from another parent that I can put to let her use a calculator in her IEP! Oh I am SO going to bring that up! She just can't remember the basic math facts. We call it her "swiss cheese memory". She'll have it and then, poof, it disappears through one of the little holes. It's not something she does on purpose. She's not being stubborn or silly or not trying. It's just the way her brain works.

But my sinuses are totally messing with me tonight to the point that my ear hurts! So I'm going to take a pill and hit my pillow emoticon Good night!

I think it's a great idea to talk to her teachers. Make sure everyone is on the same page working for her, not in spite of her.

If your ear is hurting, it could be that you have an inner ear infection starting. If it keeps hurting for another day you might want to see a doctor. Or, you could try putting a few drops of witch hazel in your ear to help clean it out and then rinsing your mouth really good with mouthwash. This will attack the bacteria from both sides. (I have inner ear problems so I get ear infections at the drop of a hat.)
