Well, it didn't rain. I thought it would, but it didn't. But it's one of those things... Guess I need to correct my status.

I don't feel well. I am not "sick", that --oh, I need to go sleep for several hours, and have Husband bring me chicken soup and tea-- (unless he wants to, of course)... But I just don't feel GOOD. Sore throat, been fighting that for a few days, and achy. I had a flu shot, but what ever it is, is relatively mild. But today, I am not going to try and fight through it. I am sitting on my tookus, and I will knit, and blog, and drink tea. If I give myself some time to 'veg', maybe I won't get really "sick".

At least that's the hope. I am trying to work out how to 'work out'. I was up to 4 miles a day, thinking I was doing great guns, wow! Then I noticed that I was hurting. A lot. My ankles were swelling up and the left one was tender. I was not happy about this, but I slowed down to 2 miles. I stopped hurting. I snuck back up to 3 miles. I am still okay. I decided this... cold? crud? whatever, is just a minor delay on my trip to healthy. An annoying delay, but JUST a delay. I am learning how to read the signals my body gives me, and I am not ignoring them (as much) any more. It's a hard task to learn, but I *am* learning.

So, excuse me while I go get some tea. And have yourself a great one today, yes? emoticon
