Need some advice

Monday, October 22, 2012

If you have been checking out my blog’s recently you know I am going through a breakup. Well I have made a decision to put myself out there to meet other people. This is the way I think I can move on. Today I received a email from Nancy stating she needs her space and time. The question is do I wait around and see what happens or move on.

I'm sorry to hear of your email. Letting go and saying goodbye is not easy thing. Don't wait for Nancy. Her email "needing more time" may be a blessing in disguise. My advice would be to work on you. Go for long walks. Try new recipes.

Needing time is a nice way of saying you should move on, no one she stay on the end of a string, waiting for some one to make decision. You don't have to go out there and fall instantly in love, but start spreading those feelers, life is to short to spend waiting for some one to make up their mind. Don't know if it's the advice you wanted to hear, but sometimes we need to hear something that we don't want to hear. What ever you chose, I wish you well, my friend!

Set a certain time limit of say 2 or 3 weeks, then move on. It's hard to know what is going on in her mind. Could have nothing to do with you at all. At the end of that time, have a talk with her and see if she will open up while gently letting her know that if she doesn't want you in her life, you need to know so you CAN move on.

BTW I hadn't been reading you blogs till I saw today's scrolling on the side.
