Trying To Stay On Track.

Monday, October 22, 2012

I've been feeling lately that I am slipping. Working out less (but still daily), eating more (but still staying in my range) but it's just not working well for me. My energy levels are low even though I'm sleeping a full 8 hours at night & my motivation levels are decreasing. I don't even think I've lost any weight in over a week. I keep trying to pull myself out of this mindset I seem to be falling into but it's really hard for some reason. I'm gonna re-dedicate myself to this journey though and refuse to give up. I may not be the best person at always staying on track but I really want to live a healthy, happy life so I'm going to keep pushing! :)

I was feeling that way a couple of weeks ago, so I know how frustrating it can be. Joining the 5% challenge really helped me get out of that slump, so maybe changing things up a bit will help you also. Maybe try a new workout routine and experiment with cooking. Challenge yourself to try some new recipe or food item every week. What about a Zumba or yoga class? Maybe get more involved on some of the teams that have challenges to help keep you involved and motivated.

I'm so glad you are determined to keep involved and motivated, that determination is what will help you get through this slump. You know I'm here to help any way I can.

You are aware of the patterns and that is the first step to making positive changes. You are human. And the change in seasons could be getting to you a bit. Hang in there and be gentle with yourself.
