BLC 20 - Reevalutate my 12 week plan
Friday, October 19, 2012
This BLC 20 (Sept 12 - Dec 5) my goals are as follows:
Hit my wedding weight by Sept 19.
Hit my second goal weight by my 39th Birthday on Oct 27 - Well I'm still working on this one. My birthday is 8 days away. I'm pushing to lose 0.6lbs by Weds 10/24. I can do this but I just have to make sure I stick to my eating plan and workout hard.
Lose an overall 8lbs by the end of the challenge - We are 6 weeks into the challenge and I'm down 2.8lbs. Our team want's to push for everyone to lose 5%. My thinking was to lose 6lbs. So average 1/2lb a week since I'm close to goal. I just have to keep changing up my workouts.
Eat within my calorie range - I really don't look at calories. I just make sure that I get in my servings but I have been staying within the ranges in doing that.
Workout in my Sport Zones 3x a week and then easy workouts 3 times a week with 1 rest day - I have been working out in my zones BUT I've been keeping it to the lower zones. I've gotten away from my base builder interval workouts and I NEED to return back to them. I had great results in the first month doing them. Break time is over. Gotta push it.
At least 2 full body strength training workouts a week - I was doing well with this until I started to get pain in my right neck/shoulder area. I'm thinking that it's a pinched nerve. So I stopped doing upper body workouts where I needed to lift a weight over my head.
Focus on getting in more vegetables and working in a more of a variety - I think the emocions says it all. I have NOT been doing this at all.
Start using my Yoga DVD once a week (I need to improve my flexibility) - I've done the Yoga DVD once.
- Hit my wedding weight - a workout outfit emoticon
- Hit my second goal weight, I will get my FitPoint reassessed at the gym. Find out my bodyfat%
- Lose the 8lbs and I will get a massage because I'm sure my body will need it.
I can still hit a lot of my goals in the next 6 weeks. I just have to rededicate myself and get that really high motivation back that I had at the beginning of the challenge.
