Twelve Day Streak and a Great Week

This week has been great. I'm on a 12 day streak of exercising, I lost 1.6 lbs and I tied for Biggest Loser of the Week with my boyfriend at our TOPS meeting and won $1 for it. We both lost the same amount of weight this week. Isn't that cute? lol!
My exercise consists of walking with short jogging intervals. My body is still weak from being sedentary for so many years. My shins are always very sore by the time I am done walking. On the nights I add in jogging, my shins hurt sooner and I find I'm not able to go as long as I do on the nights I just walk.
There have been days when I just don't feel like doing anything. I force myself to get outside and walk no matter what. My goals are too important to me to take a day off just because I'm feeling lazy. When I start making excuses, I change my thinking. I bring myself right back down to Earth. Excuses are what got me to 233 lbs in the first place.
To help keep myself accountable, I post a picture on Facebook of myself during my walk everyday. Tonight, someone commented on my Facebook photo and told me I am an inspiration to them. Me, an inspiration? I never thought someone would say that to me. That comment will keep the fire inside me burning for awhile.
